Westcourt Farm Barn

The Barn at Westcourt Farm is available for hire as an ideal meeting place in a discreet location. 

The venue is between Marlborough and Hungerford on the Wiltshire, Berkshire border and can accommodate up to 24 persons.

The Barn at Westcourt Farm has a magnificent six bay roof with sling brace design using elm wood crucks and dates back to 1780. 

Originally the barn consisted of a carthorse stable on the ground level with a hayloft above. 

Still visible today are the "Wiltshire Happy Circles" rendered in the walls and a large modern trompe d'oeil covers the north wall.

Ground Floor STABLE for lunching and reception

Heavy elm beams support the original feather edged ceiling which was used for drying the hay. 

Modern tiles cover the old mud floor, with original exposed brickwork.

First Floor HAYLOFT for meetings or coursework 

The hayloft provides a wonderful airy room with all the original roof work on full display. 

On the side are two cabinets displaying an original 15th century window preserved hidden in the walls of the farmhouse and in the other the Wiltshire Happy Circles in the old lime render.
